About Our Market
By noon of the Wednesday prior to our Market Day, Vendors have updated the Click and Collect Market with the items that they will be able to harvest or prepare in the coming days. During this time, you can browse the Click and Collect Market, create your Account, add items to your Cart, check our delivery areas and contact the vendors with questions about their items.
On Thursday, the Market opens for sales. Please note, that items in your Cart are NOT reserved. If a vendor sells out of an item before you checkout then there’s no more of that item available until they harvest or make more.
Delivery Areas
Current delivery areas and pickup locations are limited to Vermilion Ag Society grounds. This is to limit the number of places our vendors need to visit.
About the Vendors
The only criteria to be a Vendor with the Virtual Market is that they are a business that makes, bakes, or grows their market items and they reside within a 100 km radius of Vermilion, AB. Each item in the Market will include information about the Vendor and contact info so you can interact with them, just like you would at a regular market.
Possible categories that vendors can place their product in include:
- ARTISANS & CLOTHING
- BAKERY & DESSERTS
- BATH & BODY
- DAIRY
- FLOWERS
- MEAT, POULTRY & FISH
- PRODUCE
- CLOTHING
- POSTERS
- and others as the need arises
Vendors can register and/or apply by filling out a registration form expressing their interest in selling on our store and they will be accepted and approved on a per application basis.
Vendors manage their own store with specific features that ensure Vendors can:
- control their public profile
- manage their products and edit per-product shipping rules themselves
- add private notes to orders or notes to customers
- view their orders and reports on sales performance
- sell physical and/or digital products as well as time-based bookings
- receive commission payouts
